A client commissioned us to enhance the energy efficiency of their three-story residence. We performed a deep energy retrofit by removing the existing siding and sections of sheathing to replace the wall insulation with high-density cellulose. Following the insulation upgrade, we installed new energy-efficient windows and doors and resided the home. Once the exterior shell was finalized, our team transitioned to interior renovations, including a comprehensive remodel of the large kitchen and primary bathroom, as well as the addition of a screened porch to the existing deck. For the kitchen design, the homeowners prioritized increasing cabinetry storage while maintaining the abundant natural light provided by the room’s many windows.
