One year after finalizing a new residence for a returning client, our team was commissioned to design and construct a two-car carport with an integrated shed for lawn equipment storage. The homeowners’ primary goal was to protect their vehicles from harsh winter conditions and provide a secure location for property accessories, while intentionally avoiding the aesthetic of a traditional garage. We gave careful consideration to the site placement of the carport relative to the main home to ensure the addition was both welcoming and easily accessible.
